Full beard

: Clean-shaven

If you ever want to feel better about yourself, grow a beard and then a month later, shave it off. It’s a lot more exciting than you would think. I feel like a new-born baby that just came out of the womb. My face feels so soft, I can’t stop rubbing it.

The hair on my face was almost a half an inch long, It just looked shorter because I brushed it. My mom thought I was going to clog up the drain with all the hair. I don’t have any hair clippers, so I had to use a razor which took twice as long as it should have.

It really didnt help when today some girl who is a friend of mine, told me that my beard looks gross and that I should shave it. Since I havent seen a lot of my friends in a while, they all said something about my beard the first time they saw me. I didnt mind it unless the said something positive.

I learned a couple of things while growing a beard.

1. If you want to look good, never grow a beard.

2. If you want to make a good first impression, never have a beard.

3. Dressing well mostly means dressing clean.

4. People spend so much money on appearances because the better you look, the better people treat you.

5. A beard makes you look dirty, no matter how many times you take a shower.

6. Beards will never go back in style.

7. Girls don’t find it attractive.

8. If someone is really buff, they ten times more gnarly with a beard.

If I had to choose to do this again, I definitely wouldnt. I really dont like having a beard. Maybe i’ll grow one when i’m in my forties.

I dont see why anyone my age would want to grow a beard. Maybe that’s why you dont really see guys my age with one. Girls my age dont find it attractive at all.

There's a beard on the penny

It always makes me a little more self-conscious when someone makes a big deal about my beard, like today when my friend I havent seen this whole week says “What the hell is that on your face”. He looked at it like he’s never seen a beard before.

I’ve figured something out. I found out that if someone ever wants to attract attention they should grow a beard. I think it’s because when people look at you, there is always a topic of conversation. I guess people now have something to say.

I’m starting to like the look of my beard a lot. The only bad part is that I dont really think i’m very good-looking anymore. I dont expect girls to find me attractive and i’ve accepted that. There are only a couple of girls that would find my beard to be more attractive.

Once guys finally stop worrying about how they appear to woman, they will be able relax and live more relaxed. They can finally feel comfortable wherever they are. I feel like i’m the most calm person in the world.

I look really cool now. More cool than before when I first started growing my beard. I look like I have a cool hip style that nobody else has. I also feel older than all of my friends. Nothing can ruin the way that I feel about myself. I have an indestructible wall of happiness. I finally get the song “Dont Worry Be Happy”.

The sixties and seventies were a dark time for razor companies. Every wanted to have a beard because it showed that they were cool. My beard shows that i’m very cool.

A Real Beard

If you look at this picture carefully, you can see that some parts dont grow as fast which really makes me angry because it’s ruining my beard. Although, i’m really happy that I now have a real beard instead of just stubble. Most people are afraid of growing beard. I was before I began this experiment, now i’m not afraid, I embrace it.

Over the past couple of days, i’ve grown more fond of my facial hair. Now that it has become a real beard, It starts to look better every day. It’s as if it has taken me twenty-eight days to get over the hump and now it’s all down hill from here.

There’s a lot of videos on YouTube of guys waxing their facial hair just for fun. There was one video that I saw were the guy only had about one-fourth of the facial hair that I have and it was still as painful as you would think.

There is no way that I would ever wax off my beard. That would be the most painful thing that I could ever imagine. I honestly dont see the point.

People do stupid things these days. Things that they think will make them famous. They become famous because the people make a big deal out of such small things.

I’ve also seen a video of a guy just shaving and nothing else. I recommend that nobody watch this video because it was the most pointless video i’ve ever seen. I dont get how anybody watching this video could get any satisfaction out of it.

I’m too young to have a beard

There’s nothing worse than sitting on a plane. I can never sleep on a plane for more than 20 minutes at a time. I guess I have some sort of mental block of sleeping siting in a chair.

I’m too young to have a beard. Abraham Lincoln was 52 years old when he first started growing out his beard. Now I realize why nobody my age grows their facial hair, no teenager wants to look like an old guy. I already look older than I really am.

After sitting on a plane for five hours, my legs feel like noodles. When I got off the plane I could barely walk. That must be what it feels like for a man who comes out of a coma.

It takes a while to get used to walking around with a beard. It feels kind of normal now. It feels like i’ve had it for most of my life. It feels like I would look weird without it. Although, I still remember what it feels like to have no facial hair and I really want this feeling back. I want that feeling of smoothness, I want that feeling of cleanness.

I can’t stop looking toward the future. I can’t stop thinking about cutting off my beard. I want to show people that I look way better without a beard. After I shave it off, i’m gonna yell “HEY EVERYBODY, COME SEE HOW GOOD I LOOK” the way Will Farrell did in the movie Anchorman.

I know this is a weird picture, but it really shows my beard. You can really see how it grows. This is a picture of me sitting at te dinner table for thanksgiving. i was thinking that I should sit at the head of the table because I have a beard like jesus and it would be like the last supper.

It’s amazing how much society can influence us and how much we do what it tells us to do. Society tells us to put a tree in our house once a year. It tells us to buy eggs and hide them. Also, to buy a turkey.

It just seems like something you do and dont question. Nobody asks why santa clause ha nothing to do with the real meaning of christmas. People created a whole different meaning for the holiday. Nobody celebrates it as jesus’ birthday anymore.

I dont know, bit I always ask why about random things. I ask why we do them. It’s starting to make me think I should be a philosophy major in college.

I’m starting to look like a mad scientist. I was thinking that when I shave at the end of the month, I should leave my sideburns so I look like Elvis Presley. I was also thinking that I should cut off everything but my goatee, but he problem with that is that my mustache doesn’t connect with the hair on my chin.

I don’t know why but I like the music from the eighties. Most of it just seems to put me in a good mood, a lot of the music today is depressing. I like anything that puts me in a good mood.

This is Abraham Lincoln with and without a beard.

According to a nine-year old girl, my beard looks ugly. This is what my cousin says. I dont blame her, I think it’s ugly too. I’m starting to look more like a hobo each day. I can’t wear a beanie because it makes me look worse. I’ve also noticed that it makes my cheeks look fatter than they already look.

It feels like my beard is the same length as the hair on my head. But thats just because when I look at my face, I seem to just focus on my facial hair.

I’ve thought that i’ve always had big cheeks so having a beard seems to make it worse. There seems to be a quarter inch layer of hair on the outside of my face. This makes me feel like i’m one of the chipmunks.

I dont care because it makes me look kind of cool. It makes me look like I dont care about anything. It makes me look like I can intimidate people, which is something that I couldnt do before.

The biggest reason why I dont care is because I dont really care about the way I look. I dont really care about what people think of me. Nobody can say anything that will influence the way I feel about myself, even if it’s positive. I dont know why, but i’ve always been this way.

I dont think that most of my friends noticed because they expect things like this from me. Of the people who I know, I think that I would be one of the people who would grow a beard.

The Arlington National Cemetery

Today was a really busy day. The first thing I did was, I went to the Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C. At the cemetery, they had people from every American war who had won a medal of honor, purple heart, or some other medal. They also had the graves of the Kennedy family. There was John F Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Jacky Kennedy, and Edward Kennedy.

I took a tour bus that took me through the whole cemetery which took a couple of hours. Thee was also Robert E Lee’s house that was built in 1804.

The only bad part was that it rained the whole time. It’s definitely not like the weather in San Diego.

At the end of the day, I went to a NBA basketball game. It was the Wizards vs. the 76ers. The Wizards won 108 to 107. The bad part was that I was sitting in the highest section of the arena, but I didnt seem to mind it.

The thing I oddly seem to enjoy is just walking through the city. I guess I just like to be around the people. It may also be because i’ve seen a lot of good movies that take place in cities like new york. I guess it makes me feel like i’m in the movie.

I have come to a very thought out conclusion. That conclusion is that I dont look good in a beard. I’m starting to look like a wolf. Maybe I would look good if my beard grew in evenly, but I wont know that for sure until I get older and I start to grow a thicker beard.

Country Singers and Old Guys

Day 23 of beardness

Today I made a decision. That decision was to never wear a beanie when I have a beard because anyone with a beard wearing a beanie looks like a hobo. The only reason I wore one today was because it was freezing cold in Washington D.C. The only good thing was that my face seemed to be warm because of my beard. I guess I see the evolutionary purpose of it now.

So far i’ve narrowed beards down a couple of types of people, rock stars from the seventies, country singers, and old guys from the south. I dont know why country singers always insist on wearing tight jeans, a cowboy hat, and not clean-shaven. I guess they think it looks cool for some reason. As you can tell, I dont like country music. I think every country song sounds the same as the next one.

I have a lot of beard pride. I think my beard looks better than everyone elses. Mostly because I think most of the people who grow beards arent very good-looking and would be a lot better looking without a beard.

I really dont like having a beard. I think I look really bad with it. There is no possible upside that would really make a difference. Nothing that I can physically see. I makes me look older, which is something that I dont consider a good thing.

Nobody wants to look older, except for people who are my age. People who are young want to look old, and people who are old, want to look young. I guess nobody wants to look the way they do, it’s just human nature to want to be a different person.

Just letting it grow wherever it wants

Me and my brother at the Lincoln Memorial

Today I went to Washington D.C. I visited the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and tomorrow i’m going back to visit the Smithsonian museums. I dont know why but a lot of people who had full ZZ Top beards. I think that it would actually help because it happens to be really cold. I would love to have that extra warmth.

There’s something about the south that makes people want to grow a beard, and I think it’s rubbing off on me. It feels like you can fit in more with a beard in the south and it’s more acceptable. But you see more white people with beards than Puerto Ricans like me. If I went to Puerto Rico, I would fit in perfectly. I would look just like any other person.

I dont want to look like everyone else does. I want to look different in a cool way. It didnt help that earlier today, my brother made a comment about my beard, saying it was gross. My excuse was that I didnt brush it, which I do almost every day.

One thing that makes writing these bad is how every two minutes, I have to take thirty seconds to scratch my beard. Since I have to look slightly down when I work on my computer, it mostly itches where the hair grows on my neck.

I also noticed that people in the south dont trim their beards either. Like me, they just let it grow wherever it wants. Unfortunately, this is what makes it itch so bad. My mom wants me to trim it because she thinks it might make me look a little nicer, but if you dont look good without it trimmed, you wont look good with it.

Middle Eastern

You would never think that Virginia would be such a beautiful place. There is a forest all around me and there are no leaves except for brown ones because it’s winter. I can imagine everything around me as a set forth Lord of the Rings. There are hills covered with numerous trees that are so tall you don’t even notice the top of them.

You wouldnt think so but it’s nice when it’s not hot all the time. You can never be surprised in San Diego because nothing ever changes, especially the weather.

I started to realize that I would blend in really good in the woods if I ran around with my shirt off, my brown jeans, and my beard. I could become one with nature.

Sometimes it makes me feel like an eagle with some big old wings flying over the forest. Sometimes thats how imagine jesus. I imagine him with a big beard, long hair, big wings and lead singing for Lynard Skynard. It’s awesome to imagine how millions of people in the world worship a guy with a beard.

I dont know why people always portray him in movies as a white guy with blue eyes when in reality, he was a middle eastern guy. I guess americans would rather have a guy playing jesus as a guy who looked like them. It’s makes them more comfortable. I would rather them make him look like a middle eastern guy because then he would look more like me.

If I really look at myself, I could pass as a middle eastern guy because of my beard. Most men in the middle east have beards, It’s Awesome.

Also I found out that in the eighteen hundreds, people in the military had beards. That’s the kin of military I would want to be in.
